Hal R. Wolfenbarger

Wolfenbarger - Hal R. Wolfenbarger, 69, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 8, 2009. He was born in California on September 27, 1939. Hal had been a resident of Amarillo, TX and Clovis, NM before moving to Albuquerque. Hal was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from the Santa Fe Railroad. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, June; his children Paul, Allen, Sheryl, Beckey, Crystal, and Susan and two brothers; Jim and John Carl. He was blessed with ten grandchildren; Cameron, Sarah, Angela, Brian, Amanda, Alex, Annie, Neil and Caleigh. The newest grandchild is little two month old Linnae. She was already Grandpa's "little girl" since he was blessed to live in the same city and could see her all he wanted. Hal also had many nieces, nephews, and very close friends from the many years of a life well lived. He was preceded in death by his father Tip Wolfenbarger; his mother, Opal Wofenbarger Dye, whom he devotedly cared for these past four years and who went to be with her Maker last month; and two brothers, John and Phil.
