51, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. He was born in Socorro, NM on June 23, 1964 to Harold Monroe and Gloria (Torres) Goforth. James was a resident of Socorro for most of his life. He was a five star Master Mechanic and a member and volunteer for the local DAV. He enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and he loved to go 4 wheel driving. He was preceded in death by his father; his brother, David Monroe Goforth and his beloved wife of 24 years, Patricia Ross. James is survived by his mother, Gloria Goforth; his devoted children, Valerie Ross and David Ross Goforth; his granddaughter, Skyy; sister, Patricia Wilson and husband, Randy; nieces, Amanda and Christina; nephew, David; and his aunts, uncles, many other family members and close friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 6pm at the Daniels Family Funeral Services - Socorro Chapel, 309 Garfield St, Socorro.
