Harrison Jim, Sr, 68, of Tse Da Kaan, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 in Farmington. He was born May 10, 1941 in Tse da Kaan to Tall and Mary Jim. He attended Chemawa Indian School and graduated from Navajo Community College in 1963. In 1964 He Married Sheila Mae Etcitty. For 24 years he was employed by the City of Farmington, N.A.P.I., and was an official with the Navajo Nation Government. He enjoyed farming, sports, and raising livestock. Harrison is preceded in death by his parents, His brothers Nelson and Paul Jim; and his sister, Ida Jim-Begay.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sheila Jim, daughters, Sophina Jim-Edmonds, Sheilanne Johnson, and Shelly Tutt, sons, Harrison Jim, Jr. and Elliotson Jim, brothers, Louie and Lee Jim; 11 grandchildren, Bryan Jim, Desirae Lee, Shannon Jim, Amber JIm, Keisha Edmonds, Nicole Edmonds, Stephanie Johnson, Delwyn Johnson, Stacy Tutt, Sebastian Tutt and Bryce Tutt; one great-grandchild, Haiden Sanisya.
