Harry W. Baldwin, 92 of Albuquerque, NM died Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Kaseman Hospital.
Services will be held 12:00 noon Monday, August 26, 2019 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church followed by burial in Santa Fe National Cemetery Santa Fe, NM.
Harry was born on February 3, 1927 to Harry and Nora (Warner) Baldwin in Omaha, Nebraska and raised in Fairfield, Iowa. Harry graduated from the University of Iowa. He served in the US Navy during WW2 and the Korean War. Harry married Carol Sanders on May 30, 1954 in Santa Fe, NM. After retiring from Mountain Bell Telephone company Harry found a second career as a real estate broker. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge (Temple Lodge 6) and the National Alliance of Businessmen. Harry was active in the community and was a board member for several non-profit organizations.
He is survived by his loving wife Carol Baldwin; children, Jeff Baldwin and wife Carol of Norman, OK, Brian Baldwin and wife Joann of Albuquerque, NM, Jayne Gunckel and husband Bruce of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Chris Baldwin and wife Lindsey of Albuquerque, NM, Erin Maycumber and husband Marc of Albuquerque, NM, Amy Brenneman of Albuquerque, NM, Khristi Graham and husband Mike of Del City, OK, Jeremy Tew and wife Alisha of Moore, OK, Eddie Peter and wife Lisa of Norman, OK, Janesiea Freeman and husband Steven of Norman, OK, Stephen Kessler of Blanchard, OK; great-grandchildren, Lux Baldwin, Ryder Maycumber, Ethan Walters, Brayden Walters, Evan Graham, Hayden Tew, Scarlett Tew, Ashlee Peter, Addyson Peter, Ashton Peter, Miranda Freeman, Evan Freeman, Chandler Freeman, Tyler Freeman; a sister-in-law; 3 nieces; and numerous other relatives and friends. Harry is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Melissa.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial Contributions to be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church Memorial fund 431 Richmond Pl NE Albuquerque NM 87106.
