In NM, Harry found his community amongst the brethren of Sandoval Lodge No. 76 and Union Lodge No 4 where he was actively involved in numerous charitable activities. In 2013, Harry helped found the Masonic School for Children with Learning Disabilities, MSCLD, a program which provides tutoring for children with Dyslexia. Harry dedicated his later years to building awareness of the need for Dyslexia support and served as a member of the Board of Directors for MSCLD until his passing.
