Harry Longhair

Longhair died Jan. 18, 2010, in Gallup. He was born June 7, 1951, in Zuni. Longhair graduated from inter-mountain High School and worked on the railroad and enjoyed reading, fishing, watching movies and spending time with family. Survivors include his son, Dalgeno Longhair of Farmington; daughters, Cynthia, Harriet, Valerie and Sherry Longhair, all of Lawton, Okla.; mother, Donna Longhair of Breadsprings; brothers, Jack, Tully, Ned, Benny Longhair, all of Breadsprings; sisters, Linda Leupp, Lynn Long, Lois Nelson, Grace Singer, Louise Humphrey, all of Breadsprings; seven grandchildren. Longhair was preceded in death by his father, Joe Longhair Sr.; brother, Joe Kee Longhair, David Longhair; sister, Beatrice Longhair.
