Hazel L. Slater

Slater-Hazel, Baros Slater, was born on March 29, 1935 in Moses, NM. A longtime resident of Bernalillo/Placitas, NM, completed her earthly journey on Sunday, August 1, 2010. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, James Slater; sister, Leona Baros; nephew, Richard Shelton. She was born to the late Lito and Elizabeth Baros. She leaves behind her sister, Evelyn Roseberry; two daughters, Lisa Corbin, Elaine Jaramillo; two precious grandchildren, Eric and Mark Jaramillo and fiancée Stephanie. She took the opportunity to enjoy and embrace as her own, her nieces and nephews, Buster, Dawn, Jundae, Vander and Truddie; great nephew and nieces. Her loved ones will miss her dearly. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 4, 2010, Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE and Meadowlark Lane (inside Vista Verde Memorial Park), Rio Rancho, NM 87124, 505-892-9920. Interment will follow services at 1:30 pm, Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
