Hector Mendez, age 82, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born October 8, 1932 to Santiago and Cleotilde Mendez in Madera, Chihuahua, Mexico. He has been a resident of Albuquerque, NM for approximately ten years. Hector was very proud that he had become a citizen of the United States earlier this year.
He is survived by his loving wife, Piedad Mendez; his children: Humberto, David, Luis, Nidia, Enrrique, Mary, and Rosana; his grandchildren: Hector, Gavy, Adrian, Cristina, Carina, Alejandro, Isavel, Eduardo, Briana, Rigo, Gavin, Daniel, Yarely, and Adriana; his great-grandchildren: Oscar and Ilany; his brothers: Viola, Silbia, Gustavo, Armando, Jose, Dora, and Leonel.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services – Sara Rd. Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services – Sara Rd. Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
