Helen C. Martinez

MARTINEZ - Helen C. Martinez, age 56, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 19, 2009, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 18, 1953 and was a life long resident of Albuquerque. Helen spent time raising her family before starting her career as a Dental Assistant for 12 years. She enjoyed traveling and loved to read. Helen had a kind and gentle heart, and was loved by many. Helen is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Victor Martinez; three sons, Richard and partner Abe, Manuel and wife Jenny, Gabe and girlfriend Misty; her precious grandson, Sebastian; her loving mother, Mary Jane Sanchez; siblings Albert, Andy and wife Lisa, Debbie and husband Leo, Tommy and wife Melba, Joseph, Renee and husband Keith; her loving nieces, nephews; and other numerous relatives and friends. Helen will be greatly missed by all. Casket Bearers will be Helen's nephews, Julian Murrietta, Andrew Estrada, Marcus Sanchez, David Sandoval, Marcus Sandoval and Isaac Sanchez.
