Helen Louise Ray

Ray, (Waggoner) Helen Louise returned �home� on February 28, 2013. She had been a resident of the Rehabilitation Center of Albuquerque since July 4, 2008. She was born April 17, 1924 in Clovis, NM to Thomas and Lavada Waggoner. She was the youngest of four children, raised and educated in the Belen schools. Helen married Paul Ray May 27, 1942. She lived her entire life in Belen and over 50 years in her home on Campana Drive. She was employed as a clerk by the Santa Fe Railroad for 33 years. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and sister, her husband Paul, and her youngest daughter, Pauline Sparks. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Walker and her husband, Johnny of Albuquerque. She has 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her two sisters in law and many wonderful nieces, nephews and their families. A celebration of Helen Louise�s life is planned for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 9, 2013, First Baptist Church of Los Chavez, 09 Los Chavez Park, Belen, NM, Pastor Boyd Morerod officiating. Cremation has taken place by Daniels Funeral Services. Interment will be at a later date, Terrace Grove Cemetery, Belen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the group that fostered and adopted out her 4 cats: PACA/AAR P.O.
