Helen C. Sacco

Helen Sacco, age 90, passed away August 30, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM. She was born May 3rd, 1934, to her parents Mary A. and William V. Creager in Encinal, NM. 

She graduated high school and obtained her associate degree in nursing. 

She married her husband of 53 years, Santy Sacco on June 02, 1964, in Laguna, NM. 

Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Santy Sacco and her son, William Sacco. 

She is survived by her son, Paul Sacco of Los Angeles, CA; her 2 granddaughters, Brianna Sacco of Danville, KY, and Audrey Tatum of Fort Huachuca, AZ; her grandson, Jason Sacco of Bowling Green, KY; her 5 great-grandchildren; her great-great grandchild; many other family members and friends; and by her pet baby, Leia. 

Throughout Helen’s career, she was employed as a crossing guard, nursing patients, but above all, a homemaker. 

Helen was also a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. She was active in her church organizations and involved in her church activities, which were the Kateri Circle and Legion of Mary. 

A viewing is to be held Friday, September 13, 2024, at 10:00 am, followed by a celebration of life service, at 11:00 am; located at Daniels Family Funeral Services- Carlisle Chapel, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Abq NM 87110. 

Interment to follow at 1:30 pm, located at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 8750.
