Helena Theresa Mann

Mann, Helena Theresa MANN-Helena (Terry) Mann, age 86, a resident of Bahama, NC passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011 following a long illness. Terry was a long time resident of Albuquerque where she worked for (and retired from) the Directorate of Nuclear Surety at Kirtland AFB. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar C. Mann of Albuquerque, NM, a member of the New Mexico 200th Coastal Artillery and survivor of the Bataan Death March; stepson, John F. Mann; 8 brothers and sisters, as well as her mother, Sara Abel and father, George Walter. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Audy and husband, Robert of Bahama; Debbie Kelley of Urbandale, Iowa; Melissa Gaylor and husband, Bill of Atoka, OK; one son, Oscar Mann of Albuquerque, NM; daughter-in-law Lora Mann of Helotes, TX along with many other family members. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the chapel at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Helena Mann to the Duke Cancer Institute.
