Henry Bud Austin

Bud & Nellie Austin
Bud was born on September 14, 1918 and Nellie on September 15, 1925. They were together and happy for over 68 years. Bud had three kids when he met Nellie, and together they had three more. Dodie, Bobby, Jackie, Jimmie, Kathy, and Stephen. Numerous grandkids, great grandkids, and great-great grandkids. They truly loved to be around family and drove coast to coast to see them. Bud retired from Sandia Base, and Nellie from Sears. They were Elks, and belonged to post 49 and Palo Duro. Nellie enjoyed tending to her garden and the turtles. She also sold crafts at The Blue Portal, Palo Duro and craft shows, Bud always drove her. They always had time for friends, and a place at their table for everyone. They are still together. Bud passed away November 13, 2015, and Nellie passed away November 14, 2015. They will be deeply missed; But will be remembered for how they lived, loved and cared and gave to us all.
Private cremation has taken place.
