Grier, Henry Samuel
a resident of Rio Rancho and Albuquerque for over 25 years, Age 65, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014. He was born on August 3, 1949 to Thomas and Mildred Grier of St. Matthews, SC. He retired from the United States Army as a Sergeant. He then worked for the VA Hospital for over 17 years. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Carol Jean and Fern. Mr. Grier is survived by his wife of 44 years, Martha A. Grier, of Rio Rancho, NM; parents, Thomas Grier of the Bronx, NY and Mildred Grier of St. Matthews, SC; sons, Henry Samuel Grier, Jr. of Rio Rancho, NM, and Tommy Grier, of Alto, NM; and eight grandchildren. Viewing and Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with the Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 1509 Edith SE, Albuquerque.
