FARMINGTON Howard C. Jones May 15, 1925 - Jan. 21, 2011 Howard C. Jones, 85, of Farmington, passed from this life on Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, in Farmington. He was born on May 15, 1925, in Lander, Wyo. Howard moved from Wyoming to Farmington in 1957 and established Howard's Photography. He served this area with professional and industrial photography until he retired in 1987. There are many memories of Howard and his work throughout San Juan County and the Four Corners Area. Howard is survived by his wife, Jenel Jones; children, S. Douglas Jones, Bruce C. Jones, Pamela K. Arellano, Valerie C. Candelaria, Elizabeth L. Jones-Denoyer, Freda (Warren) Johnson and Jess (Tammy) Franks; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, at Cope Memorial Chapel in Farmington. Interment will take place at Memory Gardens in Farmington following the funeral services. Howard served in the U.S. Marine Corps. An honorary military salute will be performed by VFW Post No. 2182 of Farmington. Arrangements are with Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W.
