Hubert J. Larribas

LARRIBAS_Hubert J. Larribas, a lifelong resident of Bernalillo, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at the family home with this wife of forty years, Antonia M. Larribas and his loving family at his side on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Hubert was born December 7, 1928 the son of Nabor and Beatrice Torres-Chavez Larribas in Albuquerque, NM. Hubert was a Korean War veteran; and a lifelong Law Enforcement Officer serving with the Santa Fe Police Dept, Tucson Police Dept., Bernalillo, Police Dept., as well as Under Sheriff for Sandoval County. Hubert is survived by his loving wife, Antonia; daughters, Regina Martinez of the family home, and Lorraine Larribas of Bakersfield, CA; Step-son, Elias E. Jaramillo, Jr. of Bernalillo; grandchildren, Malorie Martinez, Adrian Montoya, and Larry Garcia, Jr. of Albuquerque, and Chad Dawson and Lisa Marie Benmore of California; great grandchildren, Timothy Montoya, and Taylor Montoya; sister, Alene Fuentes and husband Peter; brother, Frankie Larribas and Darlene Bachdl of Albuquerque, and Connie Killy of California. Cremation has taken place. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Garcia, Sr., Larry Garcia, Jr., Timothy Montoya, Adrian Montoya, Larry Casaus, Doug Beltz, Jerry Martinez, and Vince Martinez.
