Ida P. Curbis

Ida P. Curbis, 87 died Nov. 9, 2009, in Jamestown. She was born Nov. 11, 1922, in Gallup. Curbis graduated from Cathedral High School. She worked as a telephone operator, Aviation, BIA, Kachina Packing, California Market Uptown Plaza, County Extension Agency. Survivors include her husband, Dominic Curbis of Gallup; son, Phil Curbis of Gallup, daughter, Dorie Havens of Gallup; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Curbis was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Marie Pardich; sisters, Stafie Kozeliski, Mary Chepin, Mildred Allen.
