Ike Beyale, Sr.

Ike Beyale, Sr. 82, of Fruitland passed away on November 13, 2008 at the Life Care Center in Farmington, NM. He was born May 5, 1926 in Lake Valley, Crownpoint, New Mexico to Frank Beyale and Elsie Pioche. Ike was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was retired from the APS Power Plant. Ike enjoyed rodeos, fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Beyale and Elsie Pioche, his loving wife of 47 years, Christine Simpson Beyale, and by his sister, Ruth Beyale Pablo. Ike is survived by his sons, Ike Beyale, Jr. Irvin Ray Beyale, Valvin Del Beyale, and Durwin Ike Beyale; his daughters, Sarah Nelson, Ina Van Winkle, Irene Harding, Irveta Aragon, Ifaita Araiza, Cynthia DeSheuquette, Gloria Beyale, Carladia Faye Beyale, Shawnda Rae Upshaw, and special daughter, Sharon Linda Cly. Ike was the proud grandfather to 36 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Arquilino Aragon, Arsenio Araiza, Leighton Valencia, Faron VanWinkle, Sinclair DeSheuquette, Alexis DeSheuquette, Ariel DeSheuquette, Uriah Upshaw. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom George, Ike Beyale, Jr., Irvin Beyale, Valvin Beyale, Durwin Beyale, his 6 son-in-laws and the late Frank and Ruth Pablo Family.
