Collier, Inez Ernestine
Age 89, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away October 5, 2014, after living most of her life with diabetes.
Inez, better known as Ernestine (Ernie), was born September 19, 1925 in Danville, KS to Frank I. and Althea A. (Hazel) Lott. Her grandparents were immigrants from Germany and homesteaded a farm just outside of Danville. She grew up on the family farm and was one of eight children. She married Edward Millard Woodrow Collier on August 9, 1941. They had four daughters. Edward and Ernie were later divorced and she supported her family by waiting tables.
She was preceded in death by Edward Collier; daughter, Carolyn Sue Collier; daughter, Barbara Diane West; brother, John F. Lott; brother, James B. Lott; brother Robert E. Lott; sister, Patricia F. Lott, sister, Eileen Pulliam; sister, Rosaleen Drury.
Ernie is survived by sister, Mary Virginia Bulman and husband Tom; daughters Donna Stayton, Betty Moghadam; six grandchildren, Todd Lynch of Tulsa, OK, Carolyn Hall of Elgin TX, David Moghadam of San Francisco, CA, Susan Moghadam of Redlands, CA, Cindy Buck of Los Lunas, NM, Laurel Montoya of Santa Fe, NM; six great-grandchildren, Taylor Montoya of Thornton, CO, Dalen Montoya of Santa Fe, NM, Jade Montoya of Santa Fe, NM, Austin Buck of Los Lunas, NM, Miranda Buck of Los Lunas, NM, Brittany Moghadam of Las Vegas, NV.
Ernie was a kind, caring, loving mother and grandmother. She loved gardening, fishing, feeding the birds, taking care of pet turtles, and spending time with friends and family. Ernie we miss you.
Ernie's remains will be cremated. She is in the care of
