Hernandez (Madril), Irene  
Age 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Magdalena, NM on November 5, 1938, to Pablo and Clara (Ortega) Madril. Irene was a lifelong resident of Magdalena and retired from VLA in 1993.  She enjoyed going to sporting events. She was preceded in death by her parents;brother, Benny Madril; niece, Andrea Torres; and brother in law, Pat Chavez. Irene is survived by her son, Joe Hernandez and wife Sonya; grandson, Isaiah Hernandez; sisters, Esther Chavez, Elsie Gutierrez and husband Ramon,  Mela Candelaria and husband Silverio, Alice Saldivar and Brenda Torres and Husband Ron; her brother, Paul Madril Jr. and wife Rosa; sister in law, Isabel Madril, many nephews and nieces which she adored; and other family members and close friends. The Holy Rosary to be recited on Tuesday, July 19,  2016, at 9:30 am at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church , 204 Elm, Magdalena, NM with Mass of Resurrection to follow at 10:00 am. Celebrant Father John Anasiudu.  Burial will take place at Magdalena Cemetery following service.
