Irene Gertrude Thomas Stockman

Irene Gertrude Thomas Stockman, age 77, was called to her eternal resting place on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. She was born in Burstadt, Germany on June 3, 1939 to Katherina Kirsch Thomas and Heinrich Thomas. She is survived by her husband John Leo Stockman, her sister, Lydia Halverson, son John Henry Stockman, daughter-in-law Carol Ann Viverito Leithead, daughter Patricia Katherina Stockman Garduno, son-in-law James Guadalupe Garduno, grandchildren Sierra Rose Garduno Morgan and husband Nathan, Christopher James Garduno and wife Casey, great grandchildren Glen Guadalupe Morgan & Birdie Ulla Garduno, nephews Arnie and Larry Halverson, great nieces/nephews Eric, Lon, Natassha, Chad, and Savannah and Ryhs.
Irene was a loving mother, and worked for the Albuquerque Public School system for 28 years mostly at Onate Elementary School. She enjoyed road trips, bowling, camping, working in her yard, doing crossword puzzles, and enjoyed going to the casino.
A celebration of her life will be held on April 24, 2017 at 10:00am at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will be at Sandia Memory Gardens.
