Irving E. �Bud� Meinrath passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 8 at age 89. Bud grew up in Kansas City, MO, served in the US Army and US Army Air Corps in WWII, and was a graduate of Brown University. Bud settled in Chicago to run the Meinrath Brokerage Company, a nationwide food brokerage company, specializing in the sale of sugar. He married Lois Dean Clark in 1974. After the sale of the business in 1980, Bud and Lois returned to Albuquerque where they have lived happily sharing their time between Albuquerque and Horca, Colorado. Bud is survived by his loving wife Lois, son Steven (Helen), daughter Julie (Mimi), daughter-in-law Elizabeth, and step-sons Randy (Tamera), Brad (Michelle), Scott (Yanna) and 12 grandchildren: Aaron and Eliza Guyol-Meinrath; Colin and Rose Meinrath; Grace McDavid Meinrath; Justin, Clark and Samantha Moseley, and Randi Moseley Hammond. Bud was preceded in death by sons John Meinrath and David Guyol-Meinrath and his beloved sister Joan. Bud is also survived by his lifelong friends Ed Kander (Ann), John Kander (Albert) and brother-in-law Bert Berkley. Bud was also a dear uncle to generations of Berkley�s, Adler�s and their partners and children. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 pm - 6 pm on Saturday December 14th at El Patron Restaurant & Cantina 10551 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
