Isabel Kozlowski, born Nov. 2nd, 1922, died peacefully at age 93 on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Tony, her parents Tranquilino and Eugenia Padilla, four brothers and five sisters. Isabel is survived by her six children, Rosemary Valdez, Mildred Cuestas and husband David, Tony Kozlowski and wife Nancy, Gilbert Kozlowski, Patricia Hathoot and husband Steve, David Kozlowski and wife Lori, 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. She was an avid competitor and at the age of 52 she was the New Mexico Woman’s Open state bowling champion. Her passion for sports continued through her support for her grandchildren as one of her proudest moments was watching her granddaughter win the Little League Softball World Series in Portland, Oregon. Isabel’s faith and love of family was her greatest joy. Rosary will be held Sunday, Oct. 2nd, at 4pm and the mass Monday, Oct 3rd at 9am. Both will be at The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 4th St. NW, 87114. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
