Age 54, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at her home in Socorro, NM. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on August 26, 1960. Raised in Albuquerque, Cristina attended Rio Grande High School. She moved to California after school and then settled in Socorro in the early 90's. Cristina enjoyed cooking and loved to dance. She especially loved growing her roses. Cristina was a loving person and devoted to her family and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Bonnie Leyba; brother, Michael Benavidez, sister, Patricia Lucero, daughter, Angel Garcia. Cristina is survived by her beloved daughter, Brenda Narvaiz and husband, Angelo; companion, Jesus Granado; sisters, Flora Benavidez and husband, Michael Patterson, and Suzanne Wasson and husband Jonathon; brother, Ramon Benavidez; son-in-law, Salvador Garcia; grandchildren, Sirena Garcia, Saramarie Garcia, Raelene Lopez, Jaylene Salazar, Aubrey Lopez; godsons, Anthony Leyba and Adrian Benavidez; goddaughter, Jasmine Wasson . Visitation will take place Tuesday, November 4, 2014, from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro with Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.  A Communion Service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 10:00 am at San Miguel Catholic with Deacon Nick Keller officiating.  Inurnment will take place at San Miguel Catholic Cemetery  following service. Pallbearers will be Blake Villanueva and Angelo Narvaiz.  Honorary pallbearers are Raelene Lopez, Jaylene Salazar, Aubrey Lopez, Anthony Leyba, Adrian Benavidez, Adrian Benavidez Jr. Cristina's care has been entrusted to
