Isidora G Mora

MORA - Isidora G. Mora, 86, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011 at her home in Veguita, NM surrounded by her loving family. Isidora was born on October 8, 1924 in San Marcial, NM to Fidelio and Lugardita (Serna) Gabaldon. She is survived by her daughter, Grace Castillo and husband, Rudy; grandchildren, Petra Sanchez and husband, Anthony; Isidora Hernandez; Roman Moran; Bernadette Castillo; Christopher Mora; and Anita Castillo; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and her sister, Juanita Lopez and husband, Joe. Isidora was a resident of New Mexico for over 32 years after moving back from Riverside California. She was a proud Veteran of the US Navy and was a licensed Vocational Nurse and Teletype operator for the railroad. Isidora loved caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband after 64 years of marriage, Miguel Mora, December 2010, her son, Cipriano Miguel “Mike” Mora, her daughter, Carol Castillo, one sister, Aurelia Vasquez, and her brothers, Adolfo Gabaldon and Seferino Gabaldon. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the Mora Home in Veguita at 5:00 pm. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 10:00 am at the San Isidro Church in Las Nutrias, NM with Father Peter Nguyen as Celebrant. Interment will take place in the Las Nutrias Cemetery. Pallbearers are Antonio Luna Jr., Fernando Luna, Ernie Luna, Anthony Sanchez, Tristen Sanchez, and Leon Hardcastle.
