Ismael A. Alarcon

Alarcon, Ismael A. Age 82, passed away Monday, April 7, 2014. Ismael was born on June 17, 1931 in Clinton, Texas to Rito and Maria Alarcon. He loved animals and worked as a horse trainer as well as in construction and as a mechanic. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Matilda (Chavez) Alarcon; two sons, Manuel Hernandez, Ismael Alarcon, Jr. and daughter Edwina Borgel. Ismael is survived by his children, Julia Garcia, Mary Helen Alarcon (Edmundo), Gerald Alarcon (Diane), Daniel Alarcon (Dolores) Ignacio Alarcon, Josephine Alarcon (Carmella); 24 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 3:30-5:30 pm at Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 7:30 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Final viewing will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 9:00-10:00 am. with Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave SW.
