Iva LaVelle Pawl

The family of Iva LaVelle Pawl, 78, of Socorro, is saddened to announce her peaceful passing, at home with her family, September 27, 2021. Iva was born on February 28, 1943 in Humble City, New Mexico.

LaVelle is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Edward C. Pawl II, Daughter, Rachanda Edmonds, Son, Bryan Gooch, Daughter, Rhonda Schmidt, Son, Ivan Pawl, as well as several grand and great-grandchildren. LaVelle was preceded in death by her parents Jesse "Bill" and Mary Erlene Slaton, sister, Billie Marie Jenkins and son, Edward C. Pawl III.

The family will hold a private celebration of life with family and friends at a later date.

Like a bird singing in the rain, let grateful memories survive in time of sorrow.
