BOYD - Ivan Olaf Boyd, 84, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011. He was born on February 1, 1927 to Martin and Nellie Hughes Boyd, in Kankakee, IL. Ivan is survived by his loving spouse, Millie; 2 sons - Larry Vernon Boyd of Brea, CA, Ivan (Renee) Boyd of Peralta, NM; daughter-in-law - Carolyn Boyd of Mustang, OK; 3 granddaughters - Dawn Kathleen (Troy) Davis of Albuquerque, NM, Ingrid Rochella (Noel) Graham of Salem, MA, Rachel Ivana Boyd of Peralta, NM; 2 grandsons - Gary Gaunt (Tyree) Boyd of Albuquerque, NM, Alex Vincent Boyd of Peralta, NM; great-grandson - Tiberius (Ti) Taylor Davis of Albuquerque, NM; 3 great-granddaughters - Kira Kathleen Davis of Albuquerque, NM, Colbie Skye Boyd of Albuquerque, NM, Bree Madison Boyd of Albuquerque, NM; brother - Vernon Boyd of Memphis, TN; Caregiver - Sandy Schwindt. He was preceded in death by father, Martin Olaf Boyd, mother, Nellie Beatrice Boyd, previous wife of 59 years, Don Josephine Boyd, son, Gary Gaunt Boyd, son, Bernard Harold Boyd. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 10:30 am, at Daniels Family Funeral Services- Wyoming Chapel. Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery following service.
