Jack A Brown Jr

Brown Jr. , Jack A 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2014. He was born in Amorita, OK on January 10, 1934 to Jack A. and Anna Mae (Dixon) Brown. Jack was drawn to Socorro to live his golden years about 8 years ago. He was a proud United States Marine Veteran after serving in 1952. He was married to Waynelyn Hunnicutt for 19 years and together they raised their children in El Paso Texas. Jack was a very decorated Jockey. His life time occupation but also his passion. After his retirement, Jack was a proud horse owner and trainer. Horse racing was it for Jack, and even until recent, he placed his bet on the races. Jack loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and golfing on occasion. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents; his sister, Mary Martin; and his brother, Roscoe "Bud" Brown. Jack is survived by his loving daughter, Cherry Polvadore and husband, Bernie of Sun City, AZ; his devoted son, Justin Brown of Wheat Ridge, CO; his grandchildren, Seth and Calista Polvadore; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and close friends.
