Jack M. Crouch, 73, of Albuquerque, NM went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 10, 2017 in Houston, TX. He was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his passing. Jack was born on October 21, 1943 in Gainesville, TX. He was the eldest sibling of Mike Crouch (spouse Sharon) and Richard Crouch (spouse Sandra). Jack graduated from Kileen High School in Kileen, TX in 1961. The following year he attended Texas A.M University. After the sudden death of their father he moved back to New Mexico to be closer to family and attended Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM. Then in 1965 he joined the New Mexico Army National Guard and served 6 years while working for Herman Blum Consulting Engineers in Dallas, TX as the head of the fire protection engineering department. During his service he met his lovely wife, Paula. Then on a beautiful summer day, July 25, 1968 Jack and Paula married in Dallas, TX. After working in Dallas, for about a decade, Jack and Paula decided to raise their two sons, Chris and Jeff, in Albuquerque, NM. Jack has had a long illustrious career in the fire sprinkler industry spanning several states including Texas, New Mexico and Nevada and with different companies including CASCO Fire Protection, Jack M Crouch Fire Sprinklers, Delta Automatic, SAFE Inc. & A.F.P.G, Inc. He was also a long time member of the EAGA and ABC. After 49 years of an unwavering work ethic he retired from the fire sprinkler industry in April of 2014. Jack’s dedication to his family and friends was important. He enjoyed spending time with loved ones and developed long lasting friendships. There will always be many motorcycling, camping, and sailing stories that have Jack’s stamp of approval of being the best family activities. In his younger years he enjoyed the use of his hands by building boats and model airplanes. Many of his hobbies also included gun collecting, kite flying, target shooting, drag racing and fishing. He always enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in their many activities and was always their best supporter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Caine Crouch and his mother Nellie D Morris Crouch.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Moore Crouch, his son Chris Crouch husband to Meredith, his son Jeff Crouch husband to Konica and his grandchildren Trinity, Ethan, Regan and Memphis and his brothers Mike and Rick as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be laid to rest at the Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, NM with his parents and grandparents.
A memorial service in honor of Jack's life will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11:00am at the Daniels Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel.
