Jack Partridge

Partridge, Jack  
Age 90, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at his home in Socorro, NM surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Dickens, TX on June 27, 1924, to  Jack and Ruth A. ( Kennedy) Partridge. Jack was raised in Dickens and graduated from Dickens High School and served in the US Army Air Corp during WW II. Jack met Joann Foust in  Santa Fe, NM and they were married in 1950. Jack and Joann moved to Socorro in 1964 and Jack worked as a heavy equipment operator. He worked for the Bureau of Reclamation for 17 years until he retired in 1988. Jack was a devoted family man who was very patient and had a dry sense of humor. He was a ham radio operator and flew his own plane until around 1994. Jack was also an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. Jack will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 52 years, Joann; his daughter-in-laws, Laura Partridge and Danette Partridge; his brother, Edd Partridge; granddaughter, Jillian Partridge; and brother-in-laws, Valdee Goodwin, Tommy Sharp, Ernest (Stubby) Stubblefield, Les Foust, Kenneth Foust, Marion Foust, and Leroy Foust; sister-in-laws, Helen Foust and Marie Foust.   Jack is survived by his sons, Joel Partridge, Jerry Partridge, and Jack Partridge and wife, Deborah; sisters, Helen Bingham and husband, Lindel, Louise Sharp, June Goodwin, and Linda Partridge; grandchildren, Jenelle Partridge, Joel D. Partridge, Jr., and Jarrod Partridge; great-grandchildren, Chanel Mata, Chantel Mata, Tyler Mata,  Chailynn Amaro, and Joel Partridge, III; great great-grandson, Julian J. Jaramillo; and many nieces and nephews.  A Memorial Service will be held on  Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Daniels Family Funeral Services, 309 Garfield, Socorro. A private family interment will take place at the Socorro Cemetery. Pallbearers are Joel Partridge Jr., Jarrod Partridge, Tyler Mata, Joel Partridge III, and Julian Jaramillo.  A reception will be held following the services at the Rising Stars Dance Studio, 122 Plaza, Socorro.  Jack's care has been entrusted to
