Jacobo Jake"" Juan Garcia

GARCIA - Jacobo Juan "Jake" Garcia, 58, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 06, 2009 after a courageous battle with liver cancer. Jake was preceded in death by his parents Procopio and Consuelo Garcia. He is survived by his beloved daughter Mariah Yvonne Garcia, and his sisters; Margie and Bobby, Alice Gutierrez and husband Pedro Jr., Helen Candelaria and husband Junior, Mary Jane Garcia and husband Ramon, Laura and many nieces, nephews and friends. Jake worked at TV-I (CNM) for over 30 years before retiring, he also danced Matachine for over 20 years. He loved music, dancing, and collecting old cars. He enjoyed working with Gilbert Sandoval doing Landscaping. Jake served as Mayordomo at the San Antonio Church, and was a board member of the Carnuel Land Grant Commission. Pallbearers will be Robert Griego, Vicente Griego, Pedro Gutierrez, Junior Candelaria, Pablo Gutierrez and Santos Garcia.
