Jake Leyba

Leyba, Jake Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend Age 63, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, June 19, 2012. He was born in Horse Springs, NM. Jake adored his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a hard worker who on his time off enjoyed hunting, fishing or anything outdoors. Jake is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Rose; sons, Jake A. Leyba Jr., Carols Leyba and wife Monique Presti; daughters Lupita Leyba-Baca and husband David, Anna Cruz and husband Rob and Yolanda Maldonado and husband Carlos; 14 grandchildren, Leticia, Robert, Ricky, Andrew, Alicia, David, Carlos, Vangie, Reyna, Ruby, Marcos, Shantel and Jakie Jr., sibilings, Gloria Reed, Inez Jaramillo, Anthony Leyba, Raymond Leyba, Richard Leyba, Marcarie Leyba and numerous other family members and friends. All Services will take place at San Jose Parish, 2401 Broadway Blvd SE. Visitation, Monday, June 25, 2012, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a reciting of the Rosary at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at 10:00 am; Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jake A Leyba, Carlos Leyba, Robert Saavedra, David Samora, Paul Ornelas and Richard Leyba. Honorary bearers are David Baca, Rob Cruz, Carlos Maldonado, Efren Perchez, Joe Romero and Curtis Reed. Garcia Mortuary
