James Ernest Bundy

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of James Ernest Bundy, March 2, 2025, at the age of 68. James has gone to be with the Lord. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, James was proud of his roots in this community. 

James earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Mexico and went on to work for Compact Corporation. He had an insatiable curiosity and a passion for learning, constantly driven by the challenge of fixing things and improving them in ways that went beyond their original design. 

James met Christina on a blind date their mother’s set up and three months later, they were married. Their union grew into a beautiful 42-and-a-half-year love story. James expressed his affection for Christina through music; writing songs just for her. His love for her was Never-ending. He knew deeply that the true joy of life was found in giving, not receiving. His generosity knew no bounds, extending beyond his life as an organ donor.

James was a devoted husband, a loving companion to his beloved dogs, Dash and Isa, and cherished spending time with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Christina and sister Yvonne. Though the family was small, the love they shared was enormous.
