James E. Garcia Jr.

James E. Garcia Jr. 
Age 76, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was born in Tempe, AZ on September 7, 1944, to James E.  and Angelina Garcia. He graduated from Sandia High School in 1963. James served our country in United States Navy from 1963 - 1966 where he served in Vietnam. From 1967 - 1985 he served in the Navy Reserves. He retired from the US Post Office after 32 years. He enjoyed to draw, take his kids camping, and he collected light houses. James was a member of Northside Assembly of God and Oasis Family Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lisa Garcia; and his brother Joseph Garcia.

James is survived by his sons, Sean Garcia, Dominic Garcia and wife Nicole; his daughter, Melanie Garcia; sisters, Gloria Duran, Patricia Garcia and Beverly Garcia; seven grandchildren and two great - grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:15 am on January, 27, 2021 at  Santa Fe National Cemetery. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm at Oasis Family Church, 1207 Golf Course Rd SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124
