James Terrence Hillman

Life celebration service for James Terrence Hillman, 88, of Albuquerque, New Mexico will be Friday, September 14th, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Hoffmantown Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 

Jim was born December 12th, 1929. Jim married Joan Marie Crockett of Midland, Texas, on July 21st, 1952 and raised three children. Jim served the Lord faithfully at Hoffmantown Church in Albuquerque and First Baptist Church of Las Cruces. Jim served for three years in the U.S. Air Force. Jim retired from Sandia National Labs in 1986 after 30 years of dedicated service. Jim sold real estate in Las Cruces for over 20 years and moved
back to Albuquerque following Joan's passing in June 2016. 

Jim served as a Bible Study teacher, regularly led men to the Lord through prison ministry and served the Lord as a faithful member of The Gideons
International for over 53 years. 

The Lord chose to bring Jim home the morning of September 7th 2018. Jim is survived by his children Kenneth Hillman, Laura and Ron Farmer, grandchildren Travis and Jenna Hillman, Josh and Mandi Farmer and Amanda farmer and great-grandchildren Mckinley, Kyler and Kolbie Farmer and Charlee Raye Hillman. Jim is preceded in death by his son, J. Steven Hillman, his wife, Joan Marie Hillman and his brother, Aubrey Lewis Hillman.
