James Lee Hinkle

August 11, 1930 — September 8, 2014

James Lee Hinkle, age 84, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother,  passed away Monday, September 8, 2014.    He was born in Williamson, WV, and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM.  James was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, who served his country during the Korean War.  He enjoyed fishing; he also was a Ham Radio Operator, and loved his chihuahuas, Louie and Lady.  He was preceded in death by his parents Wren and Stealla Hinkle; son, Jerry L. Christensen; brother Donald Hinkle; sister, Lorraine Hinkle.  James is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Rosarita Hinkle of Sandia Pueblo, NM; his children,  Joan Sullian and husband Carl, Janet Rushbrook;  five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kay Christensen; sisters, Dana Anderson and Beth Browning; and many other relatives and friends.  James will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose hearts he touched.  Committal Service and Inurnment will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
