James Jim"" P. Cowan

COWAN- James “Jim” P. Cowan, 68, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011. He is survived by his three sons, Troy Cowan and wife Kelly of Rio Rancho, NM, Travis Cowan and wife Dora of Gilbert, AZ, Trent Cowan and wife Stephanie of Gilbert, AZ; four grandchildren, Dylan, Devin, Joshua and Sophia. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol in 1992. He was a resident of Rio Rancho, NM until retiring to the Phoenix metro area in 2000. Jim was a United States Naval veteran serving on the USS Intrepid. He was a member of the Teamsters, Local 492 and was an avid sports fan following the Denver Broncos and Nascar. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and following their activities. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE and Meadowlark Lane, Rio Rancho, NM. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel. Entombment will follow the services at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho, NM.
