James Jim"" Ernest Mason

MASON- James "Jim" Ernest Mason, age 77, beloved and devoted husband, father and grandfather, was called to his heavenly home by the Lord, Friday, June 19, 2009, after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer. He was born in Denver, CO on October 27, 1931 to the late Clarence Mason and Viola Lingo. Jim was a member of the Grove Masonic Lodge #824 in Grove, IL, Al Malaikah Shriners, the Scottish Rite, and a Teamster for most of his life. He leaves behind many friends and memories of his 21 years as a Property Manager for Various Storage Facilities, most recently the Guardian Storage in Rio Rancho, NM. Jim will be fondly remembered as a dedicated employee, a loyal friend, and a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather; who will forever be loved and missed. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Christine "Tina" Mason; his wonderful daughters, Barbara Mason-Agahi and husband Manouchehr, and Viola Mason-Newman and husband Roger; his precious grandchildren, Valerie, Arman, Kamron, Christa, Courtney, Cheyanne, James, Jaxon, and Cody; and his great-granddaughter, Megan. Jim is also survived by his extended family of, brother and sister-in-laws; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
