James (Jim) H. Payne

PAYNE -James H. (Jim) Payne, 71, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1992 passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Jim was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and a dedicated member of the Board of Directors of the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). During that time he was known for his tireless commitment to the Z-Act Computer Assisted Program at the SCI Center, Veterans Hospital. Jim is survived by his wife and loving partner of 44 years, Beverly; his two sons, John of California; and Michael of Rio Rancho. Jim also was the loving Grandfather of his two Grandsons Daniel and Josh. Memorial donations may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 833 Gibson Blvd. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102 in memory of Jim or the charity of your choice.
