KELLY- James Ryan Kelly, of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 at 22 years of age. Ryan was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas to James Russell and Julie Placial Kelly on April 27, 1988. Ryan was a 2006 graduate of Sandia High School where he played soccer and participated in JROTC and Boy Scouts before attending UNM. He was talented at drawing and sketching, and enjoyed hunting, camping, long boarding, surfing, water skiing, and snow skiing. He also enjoyed attending concerts, cooking, visiting with his friends, working on his Mustang, playing with his nephews, and traveling. He traveled to Panama, NY City, Washington, D.C., Hawaii, Canada, surfing in California, and cruising around Mexico. Ryan is survived by his parents; fiancée, Sarah Duncan; grandparents, Charles and Vangie Placial, Russ and Nancy Kelly; siblings, Brendan and Lindsay Ward and husband Derek; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and two nephews, Tristan and Ethan. Ryan will carry on with the birth of his son, Riley James, due on Ryan’s birthday April 27, 2011. Viewing and Visitation will be held Friday, April 1, 2011 from 5-8 pm, Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE Rio Rancho, NM. Funeral Services will be held at Daniel Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 2 pm with visitation at 1:15 pm. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
