It is with a heavy heart that we bring to you the sad news of our dear son, brother, uncle, partner, father and grandfather James passing to the other side on June 2, 2017. James Lee Mansell, 56, was born October 11, 1960 to Floyd and Wanda Mansell of Magdalena and was a lifelong resident of Magdalena, New Mexico. James enjoyed camping, hiking and family get togethers. He is preceded in death by his father Floyd Mansell Jr. and brother Sean Mansell both of Magdalena. He is survived by his life partner Bernice Pino of Magdalena, two bonus children, Mandy Charley (Toby) of Naschitti, NM and Evelyn Apachito (Dennis) of Magdalena; two sons, Brian and Dominic Mansell of Magdalena; two daughters, Latesha and Leonalee Mansell of Magdalena; 13 grandchildren, Kelindria, Keldon, Kaldrian, and Kya Lee Charley, Darnell and Danaya Guerro, Amberlee Apachito, Cheyanne, Larry and Madison Mansell, Andrew James Mansell, Keisha Apache and Eric King Apache; one great granddaughter, Anjeli. James is also survived by his mother, Wanda Mansell of Magdalena, and seven siblings, Theresa Guerro (Rodey) of Albuquerque, Mark Mansell (Lauri) of Magdalena, Catherine Mansell of Albuquerque, Phillip Mansell (Keri) of Magdalena, Veronica Grantham of Powder Springs, GA, Victoria Lucero (Rick) of Magdalena, Brandon Mansell of Magdalena and "cousin brother" Marcos Rivera (Kathy) of Albuquerque. James also had many nieces and nephews that will miss uncle James and his campfire stories. The Holy Rosary will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at 9:30 am at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Magdalena, NM with the Mass of Resurrection to follow at 10:00 am. Celebrant Father John Anasiudu.
