James Joseph McBride

MCBRIDE-James Joseph McBride, 76, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents; Max and Dora McBride, his sons; Peter and John McBride. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary, son; Jimmy McBride, Jr., daughters; Barbara Beverly and her husband Jim and Melissa Gutierrez and her husband Tony, grandchildren; Jackie Bathman and her husband Troy, Jennifer Scalzi, John "J.J." McBride, Jr., Demetrio Gallegos and Damian McBride, great-grandchildren; Jacob, Max, Samantha, Benjamin, Joshua and Blake Bathman and Mia McBride, brothers; Robert, Abel and Bert McBride and Charlie Aragon, sisters; Brenda McBride and Lydia Herrera. James will be greatly missed by all. During his life time James accomplished a great many things, he truly qualified as a "jack of all trades" if something needed fixing he fixed. If it needed building he built, but his favorite 'jobs" always had to do with painting, whether it was art or simply changing the color of any given item, as can best be attested by the "FrankenVan". James loved painting, reading and playing musical instruments, but mostly he loved his kids, his grandchildren and their children.
