James Edward Williams
James Edward Williams, age 84, passed away on December 20, 2020 surrounded by his family in Albuquerque, NM. He was born in Virginia Beach, VA on July 10, 1936.
James Served in the United States Air Force for 23 ½ years (1957-1980) and retired as Master Sergeant with the following accommodations: Joint Services Commendation Medal, AF Good Conduct Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon with one Oak leaf Cluster, AF Outstanding Unit Award, AF Longevity Service Ribbon with four Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Civilian Personnel Management Policies, Practices and Procedures, and NCO Academy.
James is survived by his wife of 55 years, Fannie Faye Williams; his eldest son Brian and spouse Tami; youngest son Sean and sisters Doris Brousord and Adrienne Moody. He is preceded by his parents George and Melissa Williams; his sister Inez Larry; and Brother Johnson Pernell Williams.
A private graveside service will be held at 2:15 pm on January 29, 2021 at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Bishop David Cooper will be presiding. Due to COVID-19 participation is limited.
