Jane Marie Challenger

Jane Marie Challenger, age 74, passed away January 4, 2021, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.  She was born July 23, 1946 in York, Pennsylvania, to Henry David Gross and Mary Ellen Ness.  She attended Pottsgrove High School through 1964.  She was a retail assistant store manager until 1989, when she retired and moved to New Mexico.  Jane overcame the limitations life dealt for 30 years.  She was a member of Church of Christ in Rio Rancho.  

Jane is survived by her daughters, Terri Lynne of Rio Rancho, Tricia (Jeff) Pinder of Seaford, Delaware; granddaughters, Jennifer Spencer, Jessica Williams, Shelbi Temple, Morgan Pinder; grandson, Garret Temple; great-grandsons, James Thompson, Jackson Spencer, Kayden Manley, Oliver Utegg; sisters, Linda Spohn, Mary Ann Chavez; and her cat, Cocoa.

Celebration of Life (virtual service) will take place Saturday, January 9, 2021, 1:00 PM, Rio Rancho Church of Christ, 1006 22nd St. SE., Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
