Age 98, a resident of Taos area for the past five years and formerly of Albuquerque since 1953, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015. She was born in Pocahontas, IA on July 21, 1916 to Carl and Grace (Sjoken) Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell W. Foster in 2008.
Jane is survived by her children, Nancy McWilliams and husband Owen of El Prado, NM, Susan Hager and husband Noel of Albuquerque, NM, Betsy Ely and husband Scott of Arroyo Seco, NM; eight grandchildren, Russell Veronda and wife Michelle, Rory Veronda, Evan Hager and wife Sovereign, Sarah Hager, Todd Hager, Katie-Belle Ely, Lauren Williams and husband Dorian, Travis Ely and wife Valerie; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Jane was a registered nurse for the Bernalillo County Medical Center, (now UNMH) in the infant care program. She was a member of St. John's Methodist Church.
Private family services were held.
