Garrett, Janice S.
Age 83, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015. She was born in Rugby, ND on April 22, 1931, to Lester and Freda Sroka.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce S. Neel, brother, David Sroka. Janice is survived by her daughter, Cindi Gaudette of Albuquerque, NM; son James Garrett of Rome, Italy; granddaughter Brittany Gaudette of Missoula, MT; brother-in-law, Robert Neel of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Elaine Shapiro of Long Beach, CA. Janice graduated from Western New Mexico University, at the same time as her mother in 1951. Janice married Loye Woodard Bray in Brady, TX and lived in Brady where Janice was a McCulloch County Home Demonstration Agent. Her first husband Woody, died of leukemia on February 12, 1954.  Later Janice remarried Harold Garrett and lived on Harold's parents farm near Cross Plains, TX. Janice taught school while Harold operated a wholesale chicken eggs business. Janice became a hospital Medical Technologist working in area hospitals.
