Age 84, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Jackson, WY on December 12, 1932. Janice graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, ID with a degree in Education. She was a resident of Socorro, NM for 70 years. Janice was a well-known, admired and dedicated school teacher in the Socorro Schools for 37 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Carl Reed; brothers, Byron Borgman, Ernie Borgman and Charlie Borgman; and sisters, Ruth and Maxine. Janice is survived by daughter, Dana (Dylan) Etscorn; son, Byron (Vicky) Reed, granddaughter, Shelbi Etscorn; and grandson, Carl Carothers.
