Janneth Sis"" King

Janneth L. “Sis” King, 72, of Aztec, passed away peacefully in Farmington, on Sunday, April 3, 2011. Sis was born August 11, 1938, in Bayfield, CO, to Dick and Frances Baird. After two weeks of courtship, Janneth married the love of her life, Tommy King, on October 7, 1955, in Aztec. They lived and raised their three daughters in Ignacio, CO from 1955 to 1988. In 1988, Tommy and Sis moved to Aztec. Sis was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Frances Baird; her brother, Rick Baird and son-in-law Terry Boone. Sis is survived by her “ole sweetie”, Tommy King; her daughters and their families, Cheryl and Denver Batchelor, Brenda Boone and Dena and Walter McReynolds; her brothers and their families, Buzz and Dena Baird, Bill Baird, Dale and Teresa Baird; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
