Jayme L. Lease

LEASE_ Jayme Lease, 28, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at UNM hospital. Jayme was born with Cystic Fibrosis and was only expected to survive into her teens. She attended Mary Hughes Elementary, Roosevelt Middle School, and graduated from Manzano High School in 2000. She was active in music and showing miniature horses. Jayme was fortunate to have a double lung transplant in April of 2008 (Thank you to the donor and her family). This extended her life and she was able to enjoy her daughter Karlee, whom she loved and cherished, for that much longer. Jayme was able to take her to Disney World and see her turn 4. Karlee was the love of her life. Jayme was very much loved by everyone who knew her, and she will be greatly missed. Jayme is survived by her parents, Timothy R. Lease, Sr. and his wife Jaqueline, of Los Lunas, NM; daughter Karlee B. Dearholt of Los Lunas, NM; brother Timothy R. (Randy) Lease II, and wife Victoria of Albuquerque, NM; grandmother June Evans of Valrico, Florida; uncles and aunts Edwin E. Lease and wife Cathy of Phoenix, Arizona, Thomas G. Lease and wife Sondra of Rio Rancho, NM, Marsha Atchley and husband George of Gurley, Alabama, Steve Evans and wife Shirlyn of Farmington, NM, Jerome Evans of Albuquerque, NM, and Karen Evans of Florida; nephew Chase Lease niece Caitlin Lease, as well as numerous cousins. She is preceded in death by her brother Troy Edwin Lease; uncle Richard F. Lease; grandmother Norma J. Lease; grandfather Edwin E. Lease; step-grandmother Joline Lease; and grandfather Troy Evans. The family would like to thank the staff at UNM Hospital (Cystic Fibrosis) for all their support over the many years. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses of the University of Colorado Transplant Team for their support. Services will be held on Saturday, December 19 at 1:00 PM in the Sara Road Chapel at 4310 Sara Road SE in Rio Rancho. Entombment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers are Tony Lease, George Atchley, Chase Lease, Jerome Evans and Steven Evans.
